My RSX type S starts making a horrible loud thumping noise

My RSX type S  starts making a horrible loud thumping noise after about 15 minutes of
going 60 miles an hour or more.  If  I stop driving and let it cool down it seems to stop?
But will come back after about 15 minutes of driving?
