Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Marquis would crank with full battery and not fire. And now it was just sitting in the driveway with no key in the ignition and clicking rapidly it ran the battery down so the electric locks or anything else will work

Some Ford, Licoln, Mercury etc. Those years had some issues with the fuse and relay centers. That clicking is coming from where that is located. Trace that sound and try to remove and replace the relay hat is clicking to start with.
