How many times will I have to fill the gas going from Idaho to southern California

I'm leaving Moscow Idaho and driving to orange
county California. How many times would I have to
fill up on gas and how much money would it take.

Figure out how many miles to the gallon you get with the vehicle you are going to take, figure out how far you will travel, divide the number of gallons into the miles you will travel, tells you how many gallons it will take X an average gas price per gallon.

Something like that, say 1 gal. of gas = 20 miles traveled.
