I have a 2002 Chevy Tahoe and while driving the belt squeaks but the belt is new.

i was wondering if maybe a pulley or tensioner is bad??

That's exactly what it sounds like to me. I have the same problem. I have tried changing the belts to spraying the belts, the squeaking stopped for a few seconds but it went back to squeaking. My next option is to change the pulley or tensioner because the sqeaking is very irritating.
