I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe and my right brake light works sometimes. I have replaced the bulb and electrical board that connects to the inside bumper. Light will work for a day and then it stops .

A friend of mine has a Chevy malibu and they had the same problem. They replaced the electrical board and bulbs but the problem was inside the electrical board. Somehow the connections kept getting pushed deeper and the light and electrical board couldn't maintain a connection. You can pull the light connection down further so that when you insert it into the electrical board so it can maintain a consistant connection..
