As a camshaft position sensor starts having problems and weakens, the transmitted signal to the car’s computer weakens as well. This means that eventually the signal is so weak that it will not allow the car to start since there will be no spark from the ignition.

could also be a fuel delivery problem. Try starter fluid sprayed into the throttle body as you start the car . If it starts the car and runs as long as you spray starter fluid and dies when you stop. Check the fuel relay and fuel pump as well as fuel pressure regulator.

Mine was the camshaft position sensor. It just kept getting worse till I found it.
