Check in the door jam. You should have a door pin switch on the front side. Make sure that's not broke and also does the dome light come on when the door is opened or is it on all of the time? The dome light should work off the same switch but check the bottom of the door jam in the rear and see if that model has a rubber grommet there with a switch in it if it does then that's the one you need to check.
