I have a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac that won't start?

It will crank over, even continuing to crank after the key is turned off. Any
ideas?
It is a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4.0, 4x4.

My 2010 F 150 experienced the same thing, continuing to crank when the key was turned off. It was a problem with the EVAP system, the purge solenoid
