Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought the car not knowing that they didn't work. its not the end of the world but it would be extremely nice if they did work. I have fixed all the other minor things but this one has me truly stumped. I replaced the fuse and the breaker under the hood and dash and the still do not roll down from any switch.

I would suspect they do not roll up either. You may have to remove the drivers side door panel to access the switch cluster on the drivers side door. Once removed you can check for voltage to the cluster with a multi meter. If you are getting power to the cluster, suspect a ground problem. The motors which move the window up and down are DC voltage. The switch(s) simply reverses the polarity from + to - to make the motor run in reverse. It's much to long to explain here how to check. Visit a u-tube site and you can see how the checking procedure is accomplished.
