Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Turn key and nothing happens, no click or anything, Dash lights come on and everything works except it wont crank the engine. Battery is new. Only lights that dim are the ones on the ac control buttons.

Chances of a bad starter are good, you might try to tap the starter (if you can get to it) while someone holds the switch in start. If it starts replace starter

there may be a starter relay , make sure batt terminals are tight
