what size drive shaft do I need for a c6 transmission I have on my 68 mustang coupe

I was originally a V8 289 but swapped it for a 390 .  stock rive shaft is to big, is it possible to have cut to length n welded or get a new one?

Yes, it is definitely possible. It happens every day, just take it to a reputable transmission shop and they will get 'er done. No worries, as , long as you have the funding....no problem
