1967 Ford Mustang 289 Engine

How can I tell if the V8 engine is a 289/225 or 289/271? I am the original owner and I do not know.  thanks

If you are the oringinal owner and it has never been tampered with your car vin will have a k in it, that is the hi-po 289/271.
