I thought that all 86 and up 5.0 had posy trac rear ends. I know both of my 92's did and one was auto the other a stick as well my cousins 86 was as well, we put extra posy discs in to make it more like a true locker.

Jack the back of the car upand turn one wheel if the other turns the same way its a possi if it turns the other way its a standard diff. But it should be a possi my 86 is. the other more fun way is to do a burn out and see if you leave one of two black lines.

the lx didnt come stock with a possi only the gt model did. if both tires are spinnen then its possi if only one is its not
