Question type: General

Thinking of buying a 2007 convertible with 105k. Warnings? Main maintenance
problems to expect or look out for? What would you pay to purchase for a
decent deal?

The whole car is a do not buy warning. Anything European is a money pit when they get some miles and age on them. This has both.

Minis are a maintenance nightmare. Especially convertibles. The biggest problem with that car is people leave the top down when it rains and water gets into the electrical in the dash. That's a death knell for the car. If you're set on getting this car, have a mechanic review it first. You might have found the "one" Mini that's not a money pit.
