2007 Mazda 3 Touring Sedan that has an issue with Ac air not blowing out of the Dash vents. Air does blow out of feet vents and is cold. All looks well under the hood.

The HVAC system uses vacuum to move the door that direct the air. In older cars, the vacuum tubing gets brittle and leaks. Check out your tubing.

@tenspeed. These use vacuum? I thought it would be electionic or use cables.

The ones I have seen were vacuum for the blend doors. When it's quiet after the engine is just turned off, turn the knob and listen for the hiss. The temperature knob controls an electric stepper motor that moves the bypass door.
