Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2006 Subaru outback LL Bean 3.0 6 cylinder had the
steady check engine, and flashing cruise come on. I
bought a cheap scanner and got codes P0700 and P0817
what do I do to fix these. What fuse is related?  Thanks for

Not a fuse issue. Start by disconnecting and cleaning the transmission harness connector. If not resolved remove the lower shifter console and clean the area around the shifter "park" switch...especially remove any food or detritus therein. Still problematic? Ignore or chase a Subie dealer for an advanced scan.
