Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hello everyone, here is the thing, I have a 2007 mustang V6 automatic, has 140K miles
and all of a sudden when driving, it will just wont go into 5th gear, it will stay in 4th. I have
looked to see if it could be an overdrive problem, but I have no idea. Any input will be
greatly appreciated. Thank you.

It seems to me that it is a problem with your overdrive. Overdrive will keep you in fourth gear. Try turning over drive on and off then disconnect your battery and reconnect it to reset the system. If that doesn't work get the car checked at your dealer because driving it to fast in 4th gear will result in transmission failure costing you more money better to get it fixed now
