P0340 AUDI - Camshaft Position Sensor...Possible causes; Faulty Camshaft Position Sensor, Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted, Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection, Faulty starter motor, Starting system circuit, Dead (Weak) battery...Sometimes and in some models, low battery voltage or a weak starter can can trigger a Camshaft Position Sensor code. When the crankshaft position sensor (POS) system becomes inoperative, the camshaft position sensor provides various controls of engine parts instead, utilizing timing of cylinder identification signals.

Even if I change the sensor. The battery did die from trying start so everytime i of jump start it. How can I check the harness? For shortage or open circuit?

I would make sure the battery is charged all the way up and check that it is in good shape with a load test, then clear the code and see if it comes back. To do any testing you would need a digital multi meter.

So I had bought a new sensor and also erase the code but It came back.

No, The oil light cam on because of another problem, the camshaft sensor. It was just another way of warning you of a problem since the camshaft sensor not working along with the low battery. Just replace the camshaft sensor and make sure you have a good battery. Clear the code and see what happens. If a warning light comes back on then read the codes to see what it is.

So I changed the camshaft sensor charge the battery and it still doing the same thing, no power idling not so good. As soon as i try to move the stall out.
