what is the rear end ratio for a V8 explorer 4x4 with tow package

as compared to a similar auto without the tow package..are they the same or differet and can it be an option as to what the rear differential ratio is

you are probably going to want to get your hands on a Chilton or Haynes manual. It will tell you all the specs you need to know. They are available at any autoparts store.

Standard axle ratio on all V-8 models is 3:55. Same on the V-6 models; however a 3:73 ratio option is available on the V-6 with the Class III/IV trailer package but is not available on the V-8 models.
