Traction system keeps kicking on and off periodically, especially when I have a slow takeoff. Just had new tranny installed. 2007 Monte carlo SS.

My wife's Monte Carlo has been doing this for three months. I have solved the problem.i took the tire off,disconnected the plug near the speed sensor.with the switch off ,I checked for and had continuity at the female end at the wire going up to the motor.then I put a little electrical contact Grease on both sides of the plug and put all back together. Not a single time has the trac lite came on in three weeks.a three dollar fix for the elect contact at most hardware stores.i am a shade tree makanic and could not afford the 400 to 2200$ all the shops were charging you people.it only took me about 1 hour.the hardest part for me was taking the tire off because I am disabled.i wish I could have charged 20$ for this info,but anyway God bless you all
