Can I put 235 70 16 on my 2007 chevy equinox

   Want to  take off 235 60 17  and I have new
winter tires from car I sold  that are 235 70 16 I
bought 16 inch rims to put that on will 235 70 16
fit..

As long as the lug pattern on the new rims are the same it should fit, the only concern with switching to a smaller rim is clearing the brake caliper. You won't know until you put them on.
