Check your oil. Does it look normal and is it at the right level, or is it overfull and creamy looking. A failed gasket could be allowing the coolant to leak into the engine.

The water may be escaping through the weep hole in the water pump and evaporates when it hits the hot engine parts. Do the above mentioned tests. The pressure check will find if the water pump is going out. A common failure. If you look right after shutting of the engine, you may see water condensation around the water pump or hoses. If there is a small leak, it will exasperate under pressure.
