My 207 ls cobalt shakes and hesitates in gear

I put a short ram intake on her, and she start to surge, at idle jerkin and crap. I noticed that the directions said to disconnect the batt. duhhhh. so i re did it. it didnt hessitate and surge jerk at idle no more NO CHECK ENGINE LAMP!! so i thought everything was butta...nah i start to drive the damn thing and it start to hesistate in all gears, but not that noticable, so i kept driving it. a few weeks ago, the thing start gettin worse, so i changed the MAF still di it. whats up wit it? please help ima drive that car in the ocean if it dont run right.
