How come my 2007 cobalt wont shit at all and when it does its really hard shifting....?

Parked my car for a few months and I went to drive it home and it don't shift proper I cant
get my car into any of the gears when the car is running but when the car is off I can shift
it into any gear  but then i start the car and try to shift the car wont let me any ideas or
solutions....?  PLZ HELP

LOL... your cobalt wont SH!T at all..... We im guessing its a manual transmission if that is correct it could be low on hydralic fluid or have a bad slave cylinder.
