Car odometer not matching car title or public records

Asked by Micheal Mar 27, 2018 at 03:50 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 07 cobalt I bought at an auction, the title
says it has 118,000 miles but the odometer is
saying 400,000 miles. After searching CARFAX and
other records nothing indicates it having 400,000
miles. What can I do bout it?

Looking for a price to fix a rear quarter panel on a 2007 Chevy cobalt with 150000 miles on it I believe it would need a frame, liner and she’ll. Four door.

Tom's partially correct, check out both options. I suggest you contact the auction about the title work and make sure it's not a mistake on their end...and go from there. Best of luck.
