2006 Toyota Highlander with sunroof

Asked by Donlad33 Jul 26, 2018 at 10:57 AM about the 2006 Toyota Highlander Base V6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Water accumulates on the low side of the front floor after a heavy rain.  My
repairman said the sunroof drain is clogged or some type of drain is keeping
water from running off and accumulating on the car floor (makes the carpet
smell great!).  How would I fix that?

I have a 2012 Toyota Highlander and my sun roof is leaking where the passenger seat gets wet after washing the vehicle. I talked to a detail and auto body shop where I am waiting for my turn as it needs small paint correction and having him put on the gold package of ceramic pro and a clear bra. He also stated the drain plugs in the sun roof is clogged where he recommends to his customers that the drain plugs needs to be cleaned out once a year. With the gold package with ceramic pro, that is part of the service where I will take it in once a year as he details both interior and exterior with ceramic pro and includes cleaning the sun roof drain plugs. Hope this helps.
