HP of 2.7 liter flex fuel engine

I have an 08 Avenger SXT,2.7 liter Flex-Fuel engine.There are two HP ratings on this engine 189HP and 200Hp.I have the flex-fuel engine and want to know the HP.Thanks.

thanks for the answer.I have heard two versions of the HP story.Some say the fels-fuel engine is the 200hp engine.I still do not know. Doug

I agree with littlehorn, flexfuel does not have the "whooomps" that gas does. You need to burn more to go the same distance/to equal fire power. That goes with any flexfuel auto. their fuel mileage is lower than with gas. you lose about 4-5MPG by using flexfuel and you lose about 10-15% in horsepower. this is a quote from the goverment web site "FFVs experience no loss in performance when operating on E85. However, since a gallon of ethanol contains less energy than a gallon of gasoline, FFVs typically get about 20-30% fewer miles per gallon when fueled with E85." here is the link: http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/flextech.shtml

I just purchased a 2008 Avenger SXT 2.7 Flex Fuel last week..i don't really know to much about Flex Fuel engines.. if you fill your car up with E85 fuel can you then burn regular unleaded in it before its empty ? Or do you have to use one or the other..Also..it seems impossible to find gas stations that sell E85
