my oil light and check engine light keep coming on .. i've done two oil changes in like 4 months . what could it be.....

Someone apparently gave the correct answer but I don't see it. I would swear I saw the mechanic push my brake pedal about 5 times today. He had to do it twice though.

To shut change oil. Light off turn key do electronics come on don't start the car then push gas fast 3 times in 10 seconds put key to lock position. Took me 2 tries I am a 2014 avenger
