Truck over revving in 1st shifts hard into second

Asked by Gabesheehan Apr 16, 2018 at 07:04 PM about the 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE1 Ext. Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2007 Sierra classic with 4L60e and it’s
been over revving between first and second gear,
Its throwing O2 sensor codes I’m not sure if that
could cause it. I checked all the fuses and
everything is good so I’m thinking it might be the
the shift solenoids, but I guess what I’m really
wondering is if it could be the O2 sensors?

a simple google search showed up that Engine performance issues Poor idle Read more at: https://www.obd-codes.com/p0157 Copyright OBD-Codes.com and for the other one do this https://www.autocodes.com/p2a04_chevrolet.html

Yes but I’m not worried about engine idle, its running fine. I’m wondering what could be causing the transmission to not shift properly
