timing belt

I have a '99 3.0CL with 52,000 miles.  I did the maintance in Arizona yesterday and they told me that I need to replace the timing belt and it's about $850.  I called the other Acura in California that I always did my services and they told me that it's been recommended 7 yrs or 100,000 miles to replace. Should I replace it now or can I drive another 1,000 miles and go back California to replace it?

50k is too soon ( Typical Dealer sell ) and 100k is too late :) I recommend 80k to my customers OR being 10 years old an inspection for cracking ( simple task to inspect)
