Tail light repair w/o a part

Does anyone have any ideas on repairing a tail light assembly without the part?
I can't find the rear driver-side tail light assemble anywhere on the web or local.
I was thinking about pulling the whole assembly or both the left and right and
replacing them with 2 red clearance lights and 1 white on both sides to at least
look uniformed :)
