yes, you should change your timing belt on time according to manufacturer recommendation. If the timing belt breaks in an interference engine, your valves will bend.

and why am i reading that you have to change the timming belt only at 100.000 miles which means 160000 km so it means i still have time cause it was already changed once in the car but when i couldn't tell you
