Unsure of what kind of hose I need.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I don't know anything about cars so bare with me. But
a bit ago a hose in my car cracked and started
spraying coolant. I went to replace it but the auto
shops near me didn't have the correct diameter hose I
needed that was also pre molded to the angle I
needed. I am unsure exactly what kind of hose I need
and am looking for help finding what I need. I'll upload
a picture of the hose.

I have another picture that better shows location of the hose if needed.

That will be called either the thermostat bypass hose or the heater hose. Be sure show your pictures to the person at the auto parts store. It will be helpful. Hope that helps! Jim

Just looked it up on Rockauto.com for you. It's referred to as the thermostat bypass hose, Gates part number 22038 or Dayco part number 72025. Hope that helps! Jim
