No sound when stereo is on

Asked by Alaina Oct 26, 2020 at 06:01 PM about the 2002 Acura RL 3.5 FWD

Question type: General

My radio/cd player will come on but there is
no sound coming from the speakers. I have
checked all fuses under the hood and the
interior compartment and disconnected and
reconnected the battery. There is still no
sound. What are any possible other causes or
any ideas???

    Got home yesterday and the stereo was working fine. Was home for a few hours then left to go to the gym and stereo turns on but no sound? It gave no indication of trouble ahead of time.
