Iv had the same problem but also came up with AC OFF. They say it could be faulty fuel cap or thermostat. My car was cold and came up with this reading. So i found when the mechanic did the service the breather hose from the rocker cover wasn't plugged in to the air intake so sensor faulted an error. This was placed in the right spot and code cleared never came back on again. AC OFF was very simple this feature cuts the AC to save the motor from overheating, so i started from the inside of the car. On the passenger side under the glove box you will find a Blower/Motor on it is a large plug with wires that go to Blower/motor and out to the rest of AC circuit. The power wire gets hot and burnt so it doesn't connection and AC OFF pops up. After cleaning the connection and plugin it back in the AC OFF cleared and the car is running perfect. Lots of people replace the thermostat but without any success. If the the thermostat is faulty and the car is over heating you would hear the electric fans come on for extra cooling that are used for AC. This is automatic feature on all cars that run AC. Fuel cap if you need to replace it will set you back $49 US plus shipping. If the fuel cap is faulty it will not hold pressure and you will be able to open it without a key.. Hope this helps you sort out your problem.

Hell- I left the battery cover off my 2006 h3 and engine lite mostly stayed on. I put cover that covers battery back on & HOOKED UP AIR HOSE- it’s off... yeaaaaaaaaaas we will see how long it stays off. My LAZY A didn’t think the input to the battery cover hose- mattered / maybe so. See how long it stays off now- NO LIGHTS ON NOT EVEN THAT STUPID TIRE PRESSURE THING I WISH THEY DISCONTINUE
