Hummer h2 overheating when I drove it

First make sure the radiator fan is coming on thermostat may not be working and has to be replaced. Cooling system may have to be flushed and check radiator cap or over flow tank cap. Also clean radiator with a garden hose and nozzle maybe clogged with dirt and bugs restricting air flow.
