I have a 2003 LandRover Freelander HSE, was driving it the other day and all of a sudden lost power, accelerator to the floor still nothing. Idles ok but minute you try to put in gear or step on the gas you lose all power or it dies. Any suggestions

Check that the throttle is opening and closing in conjunction with the throttle pedal. Im not sure if that truck has an electronic throttle stepper, but if it does, the stepper motor that opens the throttle may be bad.
