Why does my 2005 Acura MDX alarm intermittently go off when car is locked?

my car alarm randomly sounds when the car is locked

With the alarm "armed" go around the vehicle and try to push/pull on the doors, hood and rear liftgate. Many times its just a faulty latch switch in the hood latch causing the alarm to go off randomly. If you push/pull on the hood and alarm goes off, you know what is wrong.
