check engine light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I've now got 96,000 on my car.  For the last year, my check engine light, the VDC light, and the cruise control light slowly blinks-with cruise control not operational.  The first few times I went right in to the repairshop, and they'd do diagnostic check, reset the sensor and all was fine for a while.  Sometimes I can feel a hesitation, or miss-fire or no "umph" when I push gas pedal.  It has been resetting itself after a couple of days an run and drive just fine.

Same thing with my 08 Outback. Check engine and cruise light blinking. Got code P0028 and listed about ten things that could be wrong. The next day the lights were off. Weird.
