I have 1997 Subaru legacy outback, we have replaced the battery and alternator and now the parking light are on constantly, they do not go out even when the key is removed, is there a reset button or something?

I think you will need to reset the ECU, I did a goggle search seen a few different methods, not sure if they where correct, you may want to check your owners manual for instructions...

Check on top of the steering column for a little switch. Forward (red) is on while backwards/black is off.
