outside air reads 140F, no heat unless set to "HI"

Outside ari reads 140 F, no heat available unless set to "HI".  A/C works great!

The "Thermistor" is open ... The electronic sensing device is no longer working ... they cost about $1 but be prepared to pay at least $25
