Starting engine

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So i put key in the ignition and it cranks but never seems to
"catch" and stay on.  No clicking, the interior lights are on,
radio works, dings when door is open.  Just wont turn over.  
Wth is going on???

When you turn the key, before you engage the starter, can you hear the fuel pump kick in? Also, could be CPS.
