can an air filter cause my olds to stall

I changed my spark plugs & the wires, it still stalls after I drive past 10mph.

If it is completely clogged yes it cause vehicle to stall because its not getting any air.

Agree that it is an easy repair to try. But, it sounds more like a fuel hunger problem: plugged injectors/fuel filter/fuel pump/bad gasoline.

Could also be a plugged catalytic converter. When it stalls you need to see if it has proper fuel pressure or if it losing spark.
