Loose wire under my hood 2005 Jaguar x type

Asked by GuruN3H2D Nov 09, 2019 at 03:14 PM about the 2005 Jaguar X-TYPE 3.0L Sedan AWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I cannot get my 2005 Jaguar x type to start or even
turn over. I ordered a new relay box under the hood
in hopes that it would solve any relay problems I
may have ( long story). However I found what
appears to be a positive power cord that goes to
something but I'm not sure what. Does anybody
have any clue where it may go?

Either the underhood fuse box or the starter. Hope that helps! Jim

That is a high amp wire. Other possibilities are that it goes to the battery.
