jaguar x type 2004 model does missing

why does my jaguar x type 2004 model does missing , i have changed the Air Mass sensors and it worked properly for a day and again it started the same ,
Please advise

May not be the MAF - took mine in and it was the clip into the MAF that was damaged, Jaguar mechanic fixed it in about half an hour with no new parts needed.
