2002 Jaguar type 3.0 litre - brakes lights staying on

Brake lights all of a sudden won't go off, tail and rear window brake lights. Anyone know what I can do to
fix? thanks

Check the switch on the brake pedal lever. It's either failed or needs adjusting. Try pulling up on the pedal to see if they go out.

Great thanks yes the switch was hanging and the little button was pushed in so I pulled it out and put it back in the bracket behind brake pedal, thanks.
