I keep getting OBD codes 0171 & 0174 on my Jag X Type 2.5 Sport. It runs fine for a while if you cancel the codes but after a while if you try to accelerate it loses power at around 2500 rpm. Any idea

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

OBD codes 0171 & 0174 left & right bank too lean. Changed MAF sensor,
checked for vacuum leaks no hissing or sucking sounds, no obvious holes. If
you delete the codes she runs fine, sometimes all day other times for a few
miles, but then she'll start to lose power above 2-2500rpm. Usually does this
after running for a sustained period in slow traffic. Any suggestions please?

So, you can't go by sound or visual on this. Take some carburetor cleaner and spray along the matting surface of the intake and heads, The rpm will pick-up if there is a vacuum leak. Spray the carb cleaner anywhere there is vacuum. Lean condition is cause by too much air being drawn into the cylinders.
