I had a mechanic to check my car and the code P1603 register can you tell me what code is this.

Try disconnecting your battery for about 15 minutes. Doing this will clear any stored codes present as well as reset the cars onboard computer. While disconnected touch both negative and positive cables together. This procedure is called a hard reset. Re-connect, and start engine check for codes. If you're not comfortable doing this, take the vehicle to a reputable shop with a Tech2 scan tool.
