do ball joints on a town and country ever need replacing?my manual says no i think they should

when turning rig,t or left, hitting a bump or dip i get an incredible creaking noise likr
e an old staircase  1 year now. replaced rack and pinion twice. that wasn't it..sure its the ball joints

Ball joints can cause this noise. You can check them by raising wheels off of the ground and manipulating the wheel to check for movement in them. Best to have two people, one to move wheel and one to watch for play in ball joint.

struts can cause this noise after 50 - 75000 they are due to be rplaced anyway
