water got into engine oil.

Asked by Kyomi Feb 01, 2016 at 04:43 PM about the 2001 Chrysler Town & Country LX LWB FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

After recently fixing our radiator cracks with epoxy, we came to find that there were alot of water in the engine oil but the engine isn't blown. What should I do at this point?

The water in the engine is probably from a bad head gasket, not the radiator. Take it to a mechanic and tell them what is going on. I would not drive the car with a lot of water in the engine though.

I DON'T KNOW. BUT I JUST HAD ALL OF MY PIPES MELTED BEHIND MY ENGINE & THE WATER RAN IN THE ENGINE CAUSING ME 10 THOUSAND DOLLARS TO FIX THAT I DON'T HAVE, AND THE BODY SHOP DON' WANT TO TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF OVER LOOKING A PROBLEM THAT HAPPEN WITH THE HIT AND RUN ACCIDENT.

KYOMI, DO YOU THINK CHRYSLER IS HAVING RECALLS ON ENGINES PROBLEMS THAT THEY ARE NOT REPORTING TO THE PUBLIC? I THINK SOMETHING IS WRONG, LESS THAN ONE MONTH MY VAN IS A TOTAL LOST. NOT FROM MY DOING NEITHER.
